“When in our Music God is Glorified, and adoration leaves no room for pride…”  (Fred Pratt Green)

Music is one of the ways in which we offer praise to God! Music at CPC is both worshipful and lots of fun. Over the years the Chancel Choir has been a wonderful fellowship of youth and adults who love to sing regardless of previous experience and abilities. Some of us read music and others of us simply follow the voices of those around us. Our Director, Mark Teeters, and our accompanist, Mark Osten,  help us on a weekly basis as we prepare to lead the worshiping community in Sunday morning worship and offer special anthems and cantata’s. We practice on Sunday mornings at 9:15 before worship. Come and join in the fun! You’ll love the friendships you make as well as enjoy making music!

The Covenant Chime Choir meets a couple of times a month as we enjoy learning the art of making music with chimes - and prepare music to be shared during Worship. If you have ever played chimes or bells you know how fun they are to play. Everyone is welcome to join in the fun!

Summer Music is a wonderful time for lots of us to share our hidden or often-missed talents. The Choir takes a break and we bring in guitars, keyboards and any other instruments, and of course voices to offer “Summer Music” during worship. We have Barber Shoppers who join us; we have a Bluegrass band, duets, an acapella group, and more! Once we had kazoos. This is not a time to be shy - and we always enjoy the talents of our friends.

We have a rotating team of musicians who help lead worship with the organ and piano. Check out our staff page to learn more about Ted Lassagne, Liz Amendola, and Mark Osten. Also you can learn more about our Choir Director, Mark Teeters, on the staff page.
