We invite you to join us in learning and conversation.

As a community, we also love to gather for study, companionship, and conversation. In the past year, we’ve gathered at the church in the following ways:

  • Tuesday Morning Bible Study:  One of the main events at Covenant is our Tuesday morning Bible study. Each Tuesday at 10 a.m., we gather in the church parlor to pray together and to study a book of the Bible. Discussions are lively!  Recent studies have included The Gospel of John, Revelation, and Genesis.
  • Living the Questions:  This past fall we started a video-based discussion series called Living the Questions, an open-minded study designed to help us talk about the major questions of our faith, exploring our faith journey together.
  • Walking the Bible:  In January, we watched and discussed a DVD series based on author Bruce Feiler’s travels through the Middle Eastern settings for biblical stories.
  • Book Group:  Covenant’s Book Group meets for discussion on the fourth Monday of every month. Recent books include: The Pursuit of Happyness; Three Cups of Tea; Dispatches from the Edge; and Water for Elephants
  • Tables for Six:  In addition to study and learning, we also gather just to get to know each other better and to deepen our relationships. Recently, we’ve launched Tables for Six, a fellowship program in which groups of 6 form to share a series of meals together.
  • Snow Trip:  Each February a group from church have traveled together to Zephyr Point Presbyterian Conference Center in South Lake Tahoe for a weekend of fellowship in the snow.
  • Youth: Each summer our children and youth look forward to annual travel to Westminster Woods in Occidental, California, for a week-long Christian camping experience.
  • Vacation Bible School: Traditional Vacation Bible School gives way to Intergenerational Vacation Bible School opportunities in our church. Come join the fun as we learn and grow together..

At Covenant, we value each other’s company and insight, recognizing that the Spirit speaks in and through each one of us. We would love for you to come and share the journey.
