CPC Groups/Activities

Gathering for Fellowship is always a highlight at Covenant.  Beyond Sunday fellowship and conversation here are some of the ways we gather as a church family, inviting friends and neighbors to join us.

Tables for Eight:  In addition to worship, service and learning, we also gather just to get to know each other better and to deepen our relationships. Tables for Eight happens off and on during the year as small groups gather in homes and at restaurants for dining and conversation.  Members rotate each time a new Tables for Eight begins, giving us a chance to get to know more and more people.

Summer Fun:  Join us for our SUMMER ZEPHYR TREK, July 7-10, 2017.  We will head up to the beuaty of Lake Tahoe and stay at Zephyr Point Presbyterian conference Center in South Lake Tahoe for a weekend of play and fun!  Sign ups will begin in late spring, but be sure and add this to your calendar now!

CPC Book Group - a monthly gathering of folks who love to read.  Lively discussions take place on the fourth Monday of each month - check the CPC Book Group tab under “Livelong Learning”

Golf & Picnic/Barbecue:  An afternoon on the golf course followed with a picnic and barbecue for golfers and non-golfers alike!

AIDS Walk - Annually our church has had a team involved in the Napa Valley AIDS walk which has recently included Halloween Partying!

Ride to Defeat ALS - A new bicycle ride/walk we participated in this year - 2015 - a worthy cause and one in need of funding…

Presbyfest! - Our annual fundraising dinner/silent auction has become a very special event for our congregation.

Thanksgiving Dinner:  The Sunday before Thanksgiving we always gather with friends and family in the hall for a huge Thanksgiving Dinner - always a highlight at the beginning of the holiday season.

Christmas Ornament Exchange:  An evening of sharing wine and chocolates and exchanging silly and beautiful ornaments along with waiting to see who gets the “Christmas Ugly”.  A fun and lively evening each and every year!

Christmas Caroling - an intergenerational highlight as we visit homebound and nursing care members and friends, bringing them some cheer as we sing favorites from the season!

Palm Sunday of each year we gather with our pets for our Annual Blessing of the Animals! This is a great opportunity to be reminded of the importance of our pets which are really extensions of our family units!

Summer & Winter Star Gazing occurs on the field behind our Sanctuary – a wonderful time to exclaim at the wonder of God’s creation together!
