Educational Opportunities
Presbyterians take seriously our relationship with God, Scriptures, and our daily journey of faith. To that end your Education Commission offers you the following opportunities to grow in you Spiritual life: Starting in September there will be two opportunities to increase your knowledge about the Bible, and further your Spiritual awareness and Faith.
Sunday mornings - 10:45 a.m. Children and youth are offered a Christian education experience through Rotational Sunday School classes. Children are dismissed from worship with their teachers, following the children's message. Classes are held in the newly refurbished classrooms adjacent to the Fellowship Hall.
Tuesday mornings - Traditionally called the "Tuesday Morning Bible Study", The Rev. Dr. Deana Reed leads an adult bible study on Tuesday mornings at 10:00 a.m. in the Church Parlor. Various six week courses are pursued, covering a wide range of topics. Each meeting includes a time of prayer.
Monthly Book Group - QUEST FOR KNOWLEDGE is a monthly book discussion group, that meets on the fourth Monday of each month from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. in the Parlor. Participants read the assigned book in advance, then gather to share their insights.
Look for more educational opportunities in the form of specialized studies throughout the year.
